Charlotte Church

Charlotte Church, a Welsh artist who was just 12 at the time of her debut album "Voice of an Angel" She became a household name. She's a gifted actor as well as a singer. She has also presented television programs. At a very young age she demonstrated an aptitude for singing and was performing with others in public at the age of three and half. In her early years, she started performing as a classical performer of hymns. She also she sang "Pie-Jesu" on the phone for a telecast show when she was 11. It was then followed by her performances on "The Big Big Talent Show" which was the catalyst for her being brought to the notice of the public. She sang at performances in Cardiff Arms Park, and Royal Albert Hall. Charlotte's talent was noticed as a result of Jonathan Shalit, one of UK's most successful entertainment executives, who helped her sign an agreement in 1999 with Sony Music and became her manager. Her first album 'Voice of an Angel', released in 1999 and became an instant hit, making her the youngest musician to have an album that was ranked as a No. #1 album on the British charts of the classical crossover.
